It will be the fifth time that St. Petersburg will become a venue for the Russian International Energy Forum. RIEF-2017 draws on the experience and traditions of two major international industry events – the International Specialized Exhibition "ENERGETIKA & ELEKTROTECHNIKA". (“Power and Electrical Engineering") with more than 20 years of history and the Russian International Energy Forum.
The Forum will address a wide range of issues affecting energy, economic growth, political integration and dynamics of Russia. Bringing together leading government officials and influential business persons from around the world, the Forum will be a platform to share views, best practices and discuss possibilities for cooperation in the field of energy.
The main objective of the project is to consolidate the interests of exhibitors presenting their products with the expertise of the Forum.
The key lines of development of the Russian energy complex in the current conditions are:

XXIV INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION "ENERGETIKA & ELEKTROTECHNIKA–2017"
The international contest of scientific and technical solutions and innovations has been running since 2012. The contest showcases solutions in the fuel and energy sector and extractive industry. The main objective of the contest is to bolster innovation in the fuel and energy and extractive industries and to improve the human resources potential.
On April 25, as part of the 5th Russian International Energy Forum, the contest will sum up the outcomes of the previous period and there will be a prize-winner awards ceremony.

Exhibitors: More than 250 exhibitors from 12 countries (Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Luxembourg, Poland, Republic of Belarus, Russia, USA, Finland, Czech Republic). Products and technologies were presented by Gazprom Energoholding, Sverdlovsk Current Transformer Works, Sevkabel, Inverter Plant, KAMAZ, SET Plant, Tyco Electronics RUS, Electronmash, Energomera Electrical Plants and other major equipment manufacturers for the power industry.
Visitors: More than 8 000 professionals where 86% is CEOs and middle level managers, generally decision-makers.
MatchMaking Center – More than 600 business meetings were held at the Center of Business Contacts between manufacturers of innovative products and energy generating companies.
